As businesses pick up speed with their cloud transformation initiatives, the need to meet internal audit controls over IT and SOX critical applications are forcing organizations to rethink their approach to managing identities and access. GRC Access Control and IAM are often siloed functions, causing internal audit to struggle with a unified view for compliance. Introducing cloud-based applications makes the struggle even more difficult; and, a simplified approach to solving coarse-grained access is not enough. From a Governance, Risk and Compliance perspective, enforcing access policies also requires the ability to provide a cross-application view into operational and SoD controls across the Hybrid enterprise.
